Dr. Mohammad Khurshed Alam has been working as a professor in the Department of Physics at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology since September 2023. He is from Cumilla, Bangladesh. He served the Department as Associate Professor from September 2020 to August 2023, Assistant Professor from April 2014 to August 2020, and Lecturer from September 2010 to April 2014, respectively. He has completed a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. He has also completed an M.Phil. in Physics from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He got a Ph.D. degree in 2017 from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Chungnam National University, Daejeon, South Korea. I have more than 25 years of expertise in both teaching and research, with an emphasis on solid-state physics, biomedical physics, functionalized magnetics and sensors, bioinspired nanomaterials, Green Fertilizers and Biomass, environmental physics, tissue engineering, emerging materials science, and quantum-confined nanostructures.
