Bio
Probal Roy was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 19th September 1990. He appeared and passed his SSC and HSC exams that were held in 2006 and 2008 respectively under the Dhaka education board. Later he got his B. S. (Hons.) in the year 2013 (held in 2014) and M. S. in Physics (Thesis group) in 2014 (held in 2015) securing first class in both the examinations from the Department of Physics, University of Dhaka. He joined as a lecturer in the Department of Physics, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology on 7th November 2021. Before joining BUET, Probal Roy served the department of Physics, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Khulna as a lecturer from 5th February 2017 to 16th December 2020, and as an Assistant Professor(Upgradaton) from 17th December 2020 to 6th November 2021.
His research interests in the field of Materials Science which is acquainted with synthesis, characterization, and applications of nano and bulk shaped ferrite and ceramic materials.
